Vodice is a lively little town in central Dalmatia, which is especially busy in the summer months. It lies between Šibenik and Biograd na Moru on a wide bay. A beautiful promenade decorated with flowers leads from the marina to the old town, which invites you to stroll around with its countless cafés and restaurants. With its charming old town and natural stone houses, Vodice has preserved the homely charm of what was once a small fishing village. The many bars and music cafés make it a busy place in the evenings. For sailors, this is always a welcome change from the lonely bays of the many small and large islands in the sailing area around Vodice.

Other attractions in the area are the two national parks Krka and Kornati. The small fishing town of Tribunj is 2 km away from Vodice and is especially known for the donkey race that takes place annually in August. Other recommended towns are Šibenik and Skradin.

It is also not far from the islands of Tijat, Kaprije, Kakan and Žirje. From Vodice you can sail both south and north. ACI Marina Vodice is located in the town centre, northeast of the harbour. It is protected by two piers and is open all year round. In 2017, Vodice Marina was awarded 3rd place in the category of best marinas in the Central Adriatic in the "Tourist Flower - Quality for Croatia" campaign. The marina was also awarded "Blue Flag", after meeting strict environmental criteria such as safety and water quality.
ACI Marina Vodice has 380 sheltered moorings with electricity and water connections and 55 dry moorings. Southeast of the harbour light, about 180 metres away, there is a spot with a water depth of only 1.30 metres. This is marked with an illuminated marker and can only be navigated around on the right. Particular attention must be paid to this shallow spot when entering the harbour at night.

Vodice offers a variety of shopping facilities. There are several large supermarkets and discount stores. Around the harbour basin there are many small grocery shops as well as two Konzum to shop for your yacht charter. A daily market offers fresh fish as well as fruit and vegetables. Bakeries and butchers complete the offer.
Food and products for daily use such as hygiene articles and household goods can be ordered from the JAM Yacht Supply online shop. Delivery to the yacht is individual so that the order is already on board when you check in.
A petrol station is located on the outside of the harbour embankment that protects Marina Vodice from southerly winds.
Split International Airport (Trogir/Kaštela) is only 60 kilometres and Zadar Airport 75 kilometres from Vodice. The transfer to both airports takes about 1 ¼ hours and can be arranged. If you would like a shuttle, please let us know one week before the charter.
