Castellammare is ideally situated in the gulf of Naples, about 30 kilometres away from Naples airport. Idyllic fishing villages, wonderful bays, picturesque ports and great Italian wine make this estuary so varied and popular. Positano is the pearl of the Amalfi coast and is not far away. Plan your trip along the Amalfi coast, the gulf of Naples or amongst the islands Ischia, Capri or Procida, but do not forget to include a visit to Pompeii.
From Castellammare di Stabia you can make wonderful trips to the famous islands of Ischia and Capri. The island of Capri is considered a true pearl in the Gulf of Naples. The old town of Capri, situated high above the harbour Marina Grande, attracts many visitors from all over the world with its winding alleys and a wonderful view. The "Blue Grotto" is also a famous destination. The landscape is characterised by steep limestone cliffs and offshore cliffs. The volcanic island of Ischia is known for its many thermal springs. On Ischia a trip to the Castello Aragonese is worthwhile. This impressive fortress is connected by a 200 m long bridge with the old place "Borgo di Celsa", whose visit is an adventure. But also the small neighbouring island Procida enchants with its beautiful beaches, picturesque bays and quiet coastal towns. From Castellammare to the south, the coast of Sorrento, with the city of Sorrento enthroned high above the sea, is a cosy alternative to lively Naples. Surrounded by high cliffs and olive groves, the city impresses with its picturesque alleys and squares with small shops and restaurants. The coastal strip between Sorrento and Amalfi, the so-called Amalfi Coast, is considered one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. Here are lovely places like Positano, Praiano and Amalfi like pearls on a string. The numerous houses had to grow in height due to lack of space and nestle like bird's nests in the cliffs. Salerno at the end of the Amalfi Coast offers a lively old town and a wonderful panoramic view over the whole coast. But also from Castellammare to the north and the archipelago around Ponza has much to offer. The island Ponza is an insider tip for lovers of the original Italy. Rugged cliffs, beautiful bays and white sandy beaches and an island capital with a crescent-shaped harbour made up of pastel-coloured houses also attract prominent guests to this lonely region.
From the base it is just a few minutes walk to the city center. Castellammare is a bustling city full of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, a casino and everything that goes with it.
The Marina is located in the center of the city, but also has all the usual facilities such as restaurants, bars and cafes, pizzerias, small shops and a small supermarket right on the promenade.
300 meters from the base there is a guarded garage.
Naples airport is only 30 km away. But also the train connection of Naples is nearby.
