The area of Göcek and the bay of Fethiye have turned into one of the most varied and beautiful sailing estuaries in the Mediterranean. The bay of Fethiye is surrounded by a very green landscape. The location offers the possibility of choosing a rather relaxing cruise or a challenging, sporty sail – or a mix of both.
Within the protected bay area there are different sized islands with breath taking mooring spots. Sailors can virtually reckon with even and constant wind at lunch times. When one leaves the bay, one finds one self in midst of the wide-open sea. During summer it is here that one will find "Meltemi", that region’s famous breeze. Towards East one can sail right to Kalkan and Kas or in direction of Greece to the Kastellorizo islands. If one goes West one will come to Ekincik, Marmaris or even up to Rhodos.
The entire region is historically extremely interesting. At the archaeological sites one can see traces of the roman or byzantine ages.
Göcek Village-Port is situated in Bungus Bay in Gocek, a town of Fethiye district in Mugla, only five minutes from the town centre and 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport.
Göcek is a lively seaside town, with many restaurants, cafes, shops and a bazaar. It also has all the facilities a tourist destination usually has. A few kilometres away there is the coastal town of Fethiye.
There is 24 h surveilled parking within the marina.
