Secluded bays, thick-forested coastlines, ruins of antic sites and wonderful turquoise blue swimming bays to moor in. The ideal surrounding to relax. The sandy and shallow beaches are perfect for families with children. Picturesque ports offer a historic setting for sightseeing or just going out in the evenings.
The estuary, the archipelago of Göcek is 8 nautical miles long and at its broadest 2,5 nautical miles. In the bays of Boynuz Bükü, Tasyaka (spring bay), Kücük Sarsala, Tersane, Manastir Koyu and Göbün there are places with pontoons and mooring lines.
Within only one week one can cross the gulf of Fethiye to Gemiler Rede. Stop for a swim at the beach of Butterfly Valley (Ködürümsü Liman).
The Easterly route goes over Gemiler Rede to Kalkan, a scenic artist’s village, Kastelorizon and Kas to Kekova Reder the sunken city. (2 week cruise)
One of Turkey’s most famous beaches is Ölü Deniz (-Dead Sea). It situated in the bay of the same name and is lined by pine trees.
The Pitter fleet is moored in the D-Marin, one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful marinas. It has a supermarket, three restaurants, a bar, two cash machines and a car, motorbike and bicycle rental. The main banks are situated in Göcek and are open Monday to Friday. The luxury villa community “Portville” is part of the marina, a small Turkish Venice.
In Göcek there are four large supermarkets and numerous small little shops. Additionally there are shops where you can buy art, souvenirs, carpets, jewellery and clothes. The water front walk is breath taking and passes many different restaurants and bars. It goes right from Göcek to the D-Marin and encloses the area beautifully.
There is 24 h surveilled parking within the marina.
The airport of Dalaman is only 20 minutes drive away.
