Building on the proven concept and the good sailing performance of its predecessor, the two-hull experts from Fountaine Pajot have succeeded in creating the new Isla 40, a modern holiday yacht with plenty of space and sporting potential. The new model, the Isla 40, remains with the good and tested concept with the laterally elevated steering position and direct access to the cabin roof and a large sun lounger on the foredeck. The more conventional sail plan also remains unchanged. The rig is still quite far forward and the mainsail is large and strong and can convince in the test with good sailing performance.

The bright surfaces and the many windows create a bright and friendly living atmosphere. When designing the interior, Fountaine Pajot completely dispensed with navigation in the salon, but made the sofa larger and thus created even more space for storage.

• Assuming that meals are eaten outside at the large table in the completely covered cockpit anyway, there is only a much smaller coffee table instead of a massive salon table.
