Every sailing destination has its own unique character, atmosphere and experiences. Here you will find an overview of our most beautiful destinations:

  • Croatia, Greece, Italy, Türkiye, Spain, Slovenia, the Netherlands & the Caribbean

Croatia, island hopping and summer at its best

Sit in a sleepy harbour café in the morning, enjoy your first swim stop under sail just two hours later, and dive straight into the sea from the yacht. In Croatia, lively old towns, secluded bays and small konobas right by the water are often only a few nautical miles apart. This relaxed island hopping is exactly what makes the region perfect for a summer cruise.

Greece, sailing in its purest form

Between whitewashed houses, charming harbour villages and turquoise waters, you will experience a sailing area that has captivated sailors for generations. Swim in secluded bays by day, sail leisurely from island to island, and spend the evening together in a small taverna by the harbour. Many say: nowhere does sailing feel more authentic.

Italy, dolce vita under sail

Fresh espresso in the morning, Mediterranean harbours, small fishing villages and pasta by the water, Italy combines sailing with a true joy of life. Anyone who has dropped anchor off Sardinia or along the Amalfi Coast will instantly understand why sailors return again and again.

Türkiye, warm hospitality and peaceful bays

In Türkiye, relaxed sailing meets outstanding cuisine, balmy evenings and coastlines that are often accessible only from the water.

Sail along historic shores by day, discover ancient sites and swim in turquoise bays. It is precisely this combination that makes Türkiye so special. Many crews come for the ideal sailing conditions and fall in love with the country’s cuisine and hospitality.

When the Meltemi eases in the evening and the excursion boats return to harbour, the bays become wonderfully quiet. That is when the finest part of the day begins: sharing a meal, enjoying good company and watching the sun set over the sea.

Spain, sailing from Palma de Mallorca

Spain is also one of the most sought after destinations for a sailing holiday. From Palma de Mallorca, sailors can explore the stunning Balearic Islands with their turquoise bays, lively harbour towns and hidden natural anchorages. Whether you prefer relaxed day sails along the Mallorcan coast or longer cruises to Ibiza, Menorca or Formentera, this sailing area captivates with its Mediterranean climate, reliable winds and the perfect blend of relaxation, fine cuisine and maritime charm. Real Club Nautico Marina in Palma de Mallorca is the ideal starting point for varied sailing adventures in the western Mediterranean.

Slovenia, coastal charm and hidden bays

Setting out from Portorož, the Slovenian coast feels like a true hidden gem among sailors. Over short distances, historic coastal towns, Mediterranean old town lanes and peaceful bays follow one another in quick succession. Whether it is an evening in Piran with its Venetian flair or a swim stop in a secluded bay, this sailing area combines relaxed cruising with a southern Mediterranean lifestyle and short passages.

The Netherlands, freedom on the IJsselmeer

From our base in Lelystad Haven, a very special world of sailing opens up, quite different from a typical beach holiday in the south. Wide horizons, charming harbour towns and the unmistakable feeling of freedom on the IJsselmeer.

Sail together during the day, discover historic places such as Hoorn or Enkhuizen along the way, and enjoy time for a swim stop in calm waters as well. In the evening, gather comfortably in the harbour. The Netherlands is perfect for relaxed cruises with family and friends, easy going, sociable and ideal for beginners too.

Caribbean, barefoot living at sea

New from Pitter Yachtcharter Caribbean and the Caribbean Sea: British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and Belize.

The days begin with a jump into warm water and end beneath a star filled sky in a sheltered bay. The Caribbean is less a holiday destination and more a way of life.
