The clever detailed solutions on and below deck known from BAVARIA Yachts have been further refined on the BAVARIA C42. When developing the sailing yacht, the focus was on two things: easy handling and above-average performance. 54 m² of sail area in the mainsail and 47 m² in the genoa ensure fast speeds. A self-tacking jib as well as a backstay and backstay tensioners are also part of the standard equipment.

The chine, which is particularly pronounced at the rear, runs almost the entire length and, thanks to the large internal volume, ensures immense dimensional stability. This in turn benefits the sailing properties. The high dimensional stability enables a high rig and more sail area.
The high stability and the V-bow with an iron keel of 2700 kilograms ensure more safety in sea conditions when heeling and impresses with the best sailing performance.
