Popular Souvenirs from Vacation

Once the sailing vacation is over, you're already thinking about the next vacation, right? Until then, you can sweeten the time with specialties and souvenirs brought back from the respective vacation destination, so you can still feel the vacation at home. Relatives or friends also appreciate a souvenir. Maybe they'll even be inspired to spend their vacation where you have been.
Popular Souvenirs from Our Vacation Destinations
Local direct marketers and businesses offer many great and practical as well as delicious and high-proof vacation souvenirs.
- Olive oil is particularly popular to bring home. Whether from Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, or Italy, everyone loves to bring high-quality olive oil home, even for personal use!
- Honey, often offered with sage and herbs on the islands (which to list), is also available in the best quality from local production during the vacation.
- But it's the local liqueurs and spirits that often captivate us. With them, we bring a piece of vacation feeling to every cozy gathering. Who doesn't immediately think of Croatia with Pelinkovac, the Greek islands with Ouzo, or the last sailing trip in Turkey with Raki.
Which Liqueurs Do We Recommend?
Limoncello: We have become very fond of Italian Limoncello, an aromatic lemon liqueur originally produced almost exclusively in the Gulf of Naples and along the Amalfi Coast as well as in Sicily. It immediately reminds us of our newest charter partner base in Castellammare di Stabia on the Amalfi Coast.
Croatian Cherry Liqueur: We also found this to be excellent! It is a special liqueur based on the Maraska cherry, an original Dalmatian, intensely flavored sour cherry variety.
Mastiha Liqueur from Greece: The base of Mastiha is a resin from the mastic shrub, also known as wild pistachio. It tastes unusual but sweet and can be very well mixed with soda.

Of course, there are many more local souvenirs from domestic production that bring joy. It doesn't have to be a souvenir "Made in China," even though there are plenty of them on the promenades, we prefer to bring home lavender-scented sachets or soaps with local lavender, such as from the Lavender Island Hvar. With souvenirs from the region, we support local farmers and the regional economy and also take care of our environment, as goods and souvenirs from mass production are all brought by large freighters from overseas, contributing significantly to environmental pollution!
Let's experience the individuality and beauty of our sailing destinations, get to know the people and their way of life, try and appreciate the local foods and drinks, and enjoy our vacation with respect and joy.
